Caught with his pants down

At 4:13 p.m. on Nov. 2, an officer responded to a report of a half-naked man wearing no pants running around in the wooded area west of Hansee Hall.

The officer found the male lying under a tree, approximately 80 feet west of Hansee. When the man stepped out from under the tree the officer noticed that the belt line of his pants was well below his hips exposing the majority of his buttocks, but covering his genitals.

The suspect was then informed that he was being contacted for indecent exposure and was going to be searched. During the pat down the officer discovered a glass pipe. The officer asked the man what he smoked with the pipe and he replied, "Crystal," and then stated, "You can't take my stuff."

The man also had a small plastic bag containing white powder, which he said was methamphetamine, some of which he had smoked approximately one hour prior to arrest.

Loose lips

At 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 4, an officer responded to a group of males drinking alcohol in the W-8 parking lot, by Terry-Lander residence halls.

When the officer approached the group they all began to run away. The officer chased the individuals yelling, "Stop! Police!"

After a short foot pursuit the officer was able to contact one of the individuals who said he was running because he was scared and thought the officer was going to beat him up.

During questioning the man told the officers all the names of the others in the group and said that they lived in Terry Hall.

Unscheduled delivery

At 2:09 p.m. on Nov. 6, the driver of a delivery truck left the keys to the truck in the ignition, while the vehicle was off, as he entered the SW loading dock outside the UW Medical Center.

When the driver came back he noticed that his truck was running. He jumped off of the loading dock and entered the vehicle from the passenger side.

An unknown man jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
